This weekend I went visiting my parents. My mom loves chocolate and among her hundreds of cookbooks I found an interesting and very yummy recipe I want to share with you:
Tea Chocolates
- 500 g dark chocolate chips
- 200 ml cream
- 2 teaspoons of bergamot tea leaves
- 500 g dark chocolate
Bring the cream to a boil before stirring in the tea leaves. Allow for a 10-minute steep. Return the cream to a boil after straining. Remove from the heat and slowly stir in the little chocolate chips until completely melted. Using baking paper, line a baking sheet.
Pour over the tea-flavored chocolate cream so that it is an inch thick. Leave in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Cut into rectangles using a knife previously heated in boiling water and then dried.
Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler, then dip the rectangles in it to finish.
I love dark chocolate with green tea. In this case you can also offer the chocolates a cup of bergamot tea.
